厦门大学海岸带城市化与区域生态环境变化研究组(Coastal Urbanization and Regional Eco-Environmental Change, CoUREC)聚焦海岸带城市-海洋生态系统演化与韧性机理问题,发展了以韧性为核心、陆海统筹为特色的人海耦合与可持续发展理论技术方法体系,包括陆海统筹生态管理的韧性机制解析、海岸带韧性指数和评估指标体系构建、海岸带韧性系统突变特征和预警信号分析、海岸带生态文明建设中的韧性提升对策等。

CoUREC在海岸带快速城市化地区提出土地-水-生物多样性的韧性联结、城市生态管治等新理念,在可持续城市化与生态管理领域推动自然科学与社会科学交叉研究,为发展改革、自然资源、生态环境等政府主管部门提供海岸带及城市生态评价、规划与陆海统筹转型发展的决策支撑。相关科学成果纳入国际可持续海洋经济高级别小组《海洋综合管理蓝皮书》,并成功应用于厦门、深圳、宁波、海口、连云港及太湖流域等城市区域生态规划与陆海统筹现代化治理决策、韧性转型发展。未来CoUREC将进一步聚焦海岸带土地-水-生物多样性多界面特征,以海峡西岸城市群、粤港澳及国际重点大湾区、海丝沿线国家为重点对象,开展海岸带城市-海洋生态系统韧性保护与修复研究,研制全球海岸带韧性指数,积极推动海洋综合管理中国化与生态文明建设国际化。
