  • 海洋生态学:探究沿海典型生境中原生动物等微型生物的生物多样性及其对环境变化的响应模式/机制;

  • 种群生态学:以原生动物为模型动物探究环境因子对种内/种间作用的影响及其变化规律;

  • 毒理生态学:从不同生物学水平上测定原生动物等微型生物对环境中典型污染物的生物学响应,进行生态学毒性评价和环境风险评估。

  • Marine ecology: To explore the biodiversity of protozoa in typical coastal habitats and its response patterns and mechanisms to environmental change;

  • Population ecology: using protozoa as model animals to investigate the influence of environmental factors on intraspecific/inter-species action with note on its changing law;

  • Toxicology Ecology: To determine the biological response of protozoa to typical pollutants in the environment from different biological levels for carrying out ecological toxicity assessment and environmental risk assessment.
