The Lingfeng Summer Research School (abbreviated as Lingfeng Program) is an undergraduate-oriented research training program jointly launched by the College of the Environment and Ecology, Xiamen University (CEE) and the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, Sweden. Hosted annually by CEE in the summer, each session lasts for 4 weeks. Launched in 2007, the program has been successfully run for 16 sessions.

This year, 6 undergraduates from Lund University and 18 undergraduates from CEE joined the program from June 22 to July 18. At the outset of the program, the participating students were divided into 7 groups, with each group undertaking an independent research project under the supervision of Professor Zeng Huabin, Professor Luo Jinjing, Professor Chen Nengwang, Professor Wu Shuiping, Professor Wang Xinhong, Professor Shen Yingjia, and Professor Luo Yuanrong.
During the program, a series of collective activities were also organized, including 4 academic reports, a two-day field practice (Zhangjiang Estuary Experimental Site, National Field Scientific Observation and Research Station of Marine Ecosystem in the Taiwan Strait (Fujian), Xiamen University; Xiamen Museum; and Jiageng Memorial Hall), as well as 2 cultural activities (Midsummer Eve Party, Culture Night).
At the end of the program, each group delivered a presentation on their respective research outcomes, addressed questions raised by the audience, and submitted a formal research achievement report.
